Jocky came to the shelter when he was just a young puppy, along with his brothers and sisters: Billy, Maggie, & Lady Hamish are all still in the shelter (sadly their sister Kirsty was killed by a cobra 2 years ago).
Jocky is a very gentle and wise soul. He and his brother Billy are best pals and go together almost everywhere. I call them my Peaky Blinder brothers – they look quite tough and rufty, but they are both absolute big softies! Jocky hangs around at the entry gate to their compound and loves to welcome any visiting humans. When I am in Pariah, Jocky follows me everywhere that he can. If I go into another compound that leads off of his own compound, he sits patiently at the gate and waits for me. I know, that anytime I look around, Jocky is keeping a close eye on me. He would be the most loyal and loving companion for a lucky someone!
He has a beauty of a soft, sweet grin that he uses to break hearts! If someone was able to adopt Billy & Jocky together it would be the dream come true, but he’s a sociable dog and would soon adapt to life with any other dog or without other dogs as long as he had the love of humans. Jocky gets on with all the dogs in his compound, he’s an easygoing dog that sometimes lets us see his very cute playful nature when he starts bouncing around playing with Billy or Jojo!
