Pariah Dogs

Uuni 3 (aka Jess) is such a stunningly beautiful dog. She’s got one of the sweetest natures of any of our dogs – she’s super gentle and gets on well with any other dogs and any humans that visit too. 

Timon also came to us from Soi Dog when they were on the island, they asked us to please keep Timon as they were unable to release him back to where they found him on the street.

Pro (aka Rudolph due to his red nose!) came to us after having a road accident. He was left at the side of the road after being hit and by the time he came to us his leg couldn’t be saved, so we had to amputate his front left leg.

Pinky is a really sweet-natured little girl. Her best pal is Perky, the two are always close to each other and like to play and jump around together.

Pickle came from the Soi Dog team in 2019, he was recovering and they said they were unable to release him back to the place he was rescued from due to it being dangerous for him.

Perky is a very fit and healthy dog, with a very cute face and eyes that are super endearing!

Magnus has a VERY gentle nature! As you can see from his photos, he adores cuddles, he waits for me to sit down so he can climb on me and lie back and snuggle in and get belly rubs.

MacKaru is a big gentle pooch. He’s got a cartoon-like face which is very expressive and he’s incredibly sweet with dogs and humans.

Karu has the most stunning eyes! When he gazes adoring you with those beautiful green eyes it's impossible not to let your heart go BOOM!

Gollum would be an amazing addition to a lucky family! A mix of active and cuddly and he would be incredibly loyal.

Donny came to us along with his brother, Dexter, and sister, Mary Bell when they were young pups. Their mother had died and they were in danger on the streets so we were asked to give them a safe haven.

Cody is a very shy boy, as is his sister Rhonda. Both are very submissive and not at all aggressive with other dogs.

Zeta is a super softy! She gets on great with all other dogs and utterly adores human attention. She’s not too demanding and will give humans space to come in and move around before she wanders up and asks for a cuddle!

Violet is one of our smallest, most gentle, and most lovable little dogs. She is small in size and big in personality. She’s ever so cute, has a beautiful smile (that she uses regularly), and loves humans!

Toots is an incredibly sweet-natured little dog. She’s taken on the role of Mamma to some other younger dogs when it was needed, taking them under her wing and teaching them and she simply loves human interaction.

TJ has an adorable nature! He’s excitable (he still acts like a little puppy sometimes!) and loves human interaction. He’s an INCREDIBLY quick learner!

Teddy is a big lovable dude! He is the alpha male in his compound and looks after all the other dogs, keeping them in check and always keeping a close eye on everything that’s going on.

Socks AKA Gianna is one of four sisters who are at Pariah Dog – her sisters being Jojo, Jemma, and Gismo! We nickname them the skunk sisters – due to the wee white stripe the other 3 of them have along the ridge of their backs!

Sgt Stubbs is one of our smallest dogs at the shelter, but he has a very big character! He’s got little legs but that doesn’t stop him from getting around quickly when he wants to!

Sandy has a beautiful face and loves a snuggle. He likes to come up to his favorite humans and nudges them gently with his nose to get some attention and if you then bend down to him he will cozy on in beside you for a cuddle

Sandra is a very easygoing little dog. She’s one of the smallest dogs we have in the shelter but certainly doesn’t let herself be bullied by the bigger dogs. Having said that, she likes to stay out of trouble and gets on great with all the other dogs.

Rita is a quirky, shy wee girl! Her favorite place is hiding out inside half of a dog crate which has a wee hole at the top – she can pop her head out and check what's going on from the safety inside her crate.

Rhonda is one of the shyer female dogs that we have. She’s very submissive with the other dogs and tends to keep herself away from them to avoid any confrontation.

Olive is a very submissive and super sweet doggy. She tends to get picked on a bit in various different compounds because she is so sweet and doesn’t retaliate.

Oldie, as his name would suggest, is one of our oldest doggies. Everyone has a sweet spot for Oldie, he’s just lovely.

Nokki has been with us since he was a young pup- his Mum Daeng was in a dangerous position on the streets so we took her in and gave her and her pups shelter.

Nelly and her brother Buster were rescued from a place where they were being abused. Nelly had been tied up as a puppy and someone let their fighting cockerel pick her right eye out. 💔😓

Nanny was the favorite (or almost pet dog) of the man who founded Pariah. She was one of the first dogs they took in. She had a bad wound on her body that needed treatment.

Named because of her lovely cute big ears, Mopsy is a really sweet little dog.

Mia is the daughter of Mai Tai. They were brought to us in 2016 just after Mai Tai had given birth to a litter of pups. She had been someone’s pet, but they moved away leaving her and her new litter of pups locked in a garden with no food or water.

Mary Bell is quite a timid little dog. She’s absolutely stunningly beautiful, with her long, shiny coat and an incredibly cute little face and adorable eyes.

Mario is super cute, super easygoing, and super easy with all other dogs and humans. An all-around lovable ball of cute fluffy goofiness!

Maggie is nicknamed Waggy Maggie because she has such a happy waggy tail! Her tail helicopters when she’s excited (super cute!)

Lady Hamish came to the shelter when he was just a young puppy, along with his brothers and sisters: Jocky, Maggie, & Billy

Handsome Harvey has been with us since he was a little pup. His original name (which we only found out recently, was Ranger – as in Lone Ranger, because even as a young pup he liked to keep himself to himself and stayed away from the hubbub and the other dogs!)

Furra came to us from Soi Dog when they were on the island doing their sterilization project, they took her in for treatment and it wasn’t safe to put her back on the street where they had collected her so asked us to take her into our care.

Elvis is a very shy and quiet dog. Super chilled out (until it’s time to play catch with the ball, which he is really good at and totally loves to do!)

Dude has a little cartoon character face! Super cute. His eyes and lovely sweet nature catch a place in everyone's hearts!

Colin was someone’s pet, sadly, the owner wanted to leave the island and didn’t want to take Colin with him. 💔

Buddy and his brother Lewie (who is also still at Pariah) came to us when they were very young and their Mum had gone awol. They couldn’t survive themselves so we took them in.

Billy is a very gentle soul. He and his brother Jocky are best pals and go together almost everywhere. I call them my Peaky Blinder brothers – they look quite tough and rufty, but they are both absolute big softies!

Absolute sweetheart of a dog! Betty has a super soft nature, she’s friends with all humans and all dogs! She never wants to fight and simply loves any and all human attention she can get.

Bang is a very sweet, quirky little soul. She hangs around in our largest compound and her best pals are Jojo and Jemma, but she gets on with all the dogs.

Balu looks like something straight out of a cartoon! With his super cute little expressive face! He has long elegant legs and he loves to use those and his wee delicate paws to “catch” a human as they stand close and pull them in closer so they have no option but to give him some lovin!

Submissive by nature with other dogs. Can be a little bit shy around humans but once she gets to know them or feels safe that the other dogs won't attack her she's incredibly affectionate

We don’t know Oscar’s past, but we assume he was someone’s pet because he plays fetch with a ball and is so affectionate with humans. He’s a confident and very happy dog.

We were asked to foster Mila for someone back in 2020, because we were told she was in danger in the area she was living in on the street and was being badly attacked by other dogs, with the agreement she would be picked up when that person returned to Samui and would go to live with them. Sadly, the person changed their mind and abandoned Mila at the shelter.

Lewie is one of our sweetest doggies at Pariah – he’s just a big lump of soft, adorable loveliness. He doesn’t have a bad bone in his body (I know, none of our dogs do, but you know – with Lewie you can instantly tell that!).

JoJo came to us with her 3 sisters – Socks, Jemma and Gismo. We are not sure how they ended up at Pariah, but it’s believed their Mum was killed in a road accident and someone took them to the shelter so we could help them.

Named after those incredibly cute massive ears, this is our boy Bunny! He’s a delight! He’s the alpha male in his compound so he keeps all the other dogs in check and he loves human attention and cuddles.
