We don’t know Oscar’s past, but we assume he was someone’s pet because he plays fetch with a ball and is so affectionate with humans. He’s a confident and very happy dog – he rules the roost in his compound – and adores human interaction.
He’s very fit and loves to run around chasing anything we throw for him but also loves to mosey on in for a cuddle and an ear scratch. He would love big long walks with whoever is going to be his new owner!
A wee section of his right ear is missing, which adds to the character! Oscar is also definitely a licker – he loves to shower any humans in his compound with oodles of kisses anytime he gets the chance! He is a very handsome, funny, and lovable rogue!
Although he is the alpha male in his compound, any time he’s been taken out of the shelter environment (to the vet, for example) he has been very good with other dogs and has not shown any aggressive or dominant nature towards them.
Pat from Newcastle in the UK pays for half of Oscar’s monthly sponsorship fees, so he’s looking for a kind someone to top that up with the other half, please!
